Twilight: The Analysis

For all those fanfic readers and writers out there, the most cringe-worthy thing you can ever read is a Mary Sue (or a Gary Stu). But when it's actually popular and published literature, you just have to question the sanity of our world. The first signs of Mary-Sueism  is when the author tries to resemble his or herself into the character. Bella is a klutzy, indecisive, fantasizing, teen whose dealing with teenage boy hormones as if she was going through puberty at the raw and foolishly in love age of 17-18, respectively. The first question I would pose to Ms. Meyer is, is she not satisfied with her husband, that she has to resort to writing in order to fill her fantasies? Apparently, Stephenie Meyer, had the idea for Twilight in what came to her as a dream. I question Stephenie Meyer, for she had a dream about a girl falling in love with a vampire that thirsted for her blood. Sounds like the romantic scene Meyer has always yearned, and has dared not to fulfill in real life, rather doing so by exposing the world to her abhorrent literature. The book Twilight alone, was written in just three mere months, which shows the lack of character development, talent, effort, grammatical skills, and just a reasonable plot. I do commend Stephenie Meyer for being able to fabricate 400 pages of crap and making it sell - to some degree?
